Relax & Breathe...

Well the semester is finally done and other with officially as of tomorrow. I am really excited to have a bit of break from school to just relax and do something for myself. This weekend was very exciting I spent time with my family and boyfriend which was really nice. I have really learned a great deal from my English Comp II class and I am sure I will be using these skills for future classes. Next semester I will taking Anatomy & Physiology 1 and Art & Humanities, I am looking forward to these classes and can't wait to see what I will learn next. This semester has been a journey and I am glad that it is finally over so that I can relax and breathe for just a bit! Well I guess I better get to bed before I fall asleep on this couch lol

It's that time again!

Well it's Monday again and it's time for work. I am so ready for this week to be over, thankfully I have Thursday and Friday off. I am so excited about this upcoming weekend I will actually have a break from work and school. I plan on going to the movies this weekend with my boyfriend and spending some time with my family. I have completed most of my final projects for English and medical office management. And I hope that I did ok on them as I really need to pass both classes. We only have 2 more seminars and the  semester is completely over which is really unbelievable. This semester has really flown by I remember when I was stressing about writing my rough draft now we are already in week 9!! I have learned a lot in my English class which will really help me in future classes. The most useful tool I have taken away from the class is utilizing an outline and proof reading and not to procrastinate.

It's Monday Again :(

Well it's definitely Monday again! This weekend went by so quickly I worked Saturday so it really felt like I had no time off. Fortunately I do have off this weekend but I have so much homework to do it really won't be much of a weekend. There is only two weeks left of class and now it's really crunch time to get my paper and other projects done for my other class. I am working on revising my final paper on bulimia. I am going to add some more info regarding suicide and how it relates to bulimia. I also need to add approximately 2-3 pages of info as well. I am so ready for a break lol Anyway I hope I can get it together this week and really focus on getting stuff done on time. Well I guess I better get back to work... ttyl

Thank Goodness...

I am finally in Unit 7 of my English Comp II  class an I can't tell you how excited I am about that. This class as I have stated in my previous postings is one other most challenging classes this semester. I finally turned in my rough draft last week and was so relieved to have finished it. I just hope I did okay on it, I know areas of my paper really need some improvement and I am anxious to receive it back.

Besides my current classes my life and I am sure every one's life has been pretty hectic. Between work, school & family it's sometimes so hard to juggle all. The holiday's are finally approaching and I am very excited I love this time of year the only thing missing is some snow :)

Well today is Tuesday one more day closer to Friday! Thank goodness for that lol I have been really busy lately with my classes English Comp & Medical office Management. I had to write a rough draft for a paper about Bulimia which was actually not as hard as I thought it was going to be. I did my best on it I used some of the outlining tools to help organize my paper but I do know it needs some work. I pretty much covered the main points but need some more information regarding prevention of bulimia. I know that education is a big factor in preventing it but there is really no true way besides that. I can't wait to receive my paper back so I know what kind of adjustments I need to make to it. Hopefully I did ok :) Well I guess I better get back to work until next time....

It's getting closer!

 Well it's getting closer to that time when we have to submit our rough drafts. I am feeling as though it is crunch time. I have most of my research completed but am having difficulty actually writing the paper. This week’s discussion board helped organize my thoughts into somewhat of an outline. Now I just have to start writing lol one of my academic challenges is writing I really don't care for it as much as I do other subjects but I have to do. It is a essential part of my degree and my future career in the medical administration field. In previous classes I have written on topics which I really did not have much interest in but this time around I have a great passion about my topic. I need to get over my fear of writing and just do and give it all that I have!

Tough Stuff!!

Well it's another Monday! I just can't believe how fast this year has gone by and how quickly this semester is also. We are nearly finished with week four and are quickly approaching week six which means rough drafts will be due soon. I honestly can say this class has been one of my most challenging classes as of yet in Kaplan. I have never been great at writing and during these past few weeks I am finding even harder to do. I seem to have an idea of what I want my thesis to read but still need to really buckle down and finish researching and start writing. I am really rethinking my three points to my thesis statement but hopefully within the next couple of days I can have a clear thesis statement. This week for our discussion board we had good practice in paraphrasing & citing correctly which also was very helpful as this is also a major part of the final project as well. I really hope the writing process will become a bit easier as the days and weeks go on.
